Ruthless in Colour

Now that I am in between models, it's time to clean up some of the work I did with Ruth this summer. These were quite fun to do; we'd set the timer for ten minutes, Ruth would take some (usually difficult) pose, I would find an interesting angle, and then draw from there until either the timer went off, or (more likely) one of us broke.

Most of the drawings are in conte with the lights in pastel and the paper, except the last, is coloured pastel paper from the NSCAD art supply store, 50x65 cm.

These last two were done at another artist's place (Loretta's), I really don't have room for two.

This last one is done on off white Rives, 50x65 cm.
